This particular controller works pretty well with the switch. It did take a few tries to get it to recognized on the switch. How I had to do it was restart the switch about two times and then power on my controller and it was easily detected. It is a bit of an annoying process but once you have it connected it works like a charm. The connectivity is pretty strong. I was able to control my switch from across the room about fifteen to seventeen feet without seeing any noticeable lag. There are no fancy led lights with this controller. There is only an led light to show which controller number the controller is. It is a blue led light in the center. The buttons do not feel too cheap however the colors seem to match more of an xbox one controller rather than an actual switch however all the buttons to correspond to a switch from the home to screenshot button. The joystick do feel a bit cheap. I would say when I was rotating the buttons joy stick around it definitely felt a bit stiff in that I felt I could break this joy stick easily overtime. It does work though and playing games like zelda, it works well enough. The grip is solid and the overall design looks okay. I would not say it is the coolest controller ever as I am not a fan of the yellow color but it works pretty well when playing zelda or pokemon go pikachu; however, I do think it works well. It is charged via a type c connector and the cable that is provided is just a simple three foot type c cable. I would also be aware that if you want to connect this to your PC you will need to actually connect this directly into you computer. It does not work wirelessly with PC even with bluetooth however you can get an adapter that would allow you to connect this controller to your pc or even ps4. Those adapters are fairly cheap but it is a way. Once connected it does work with all games right away and you can actually use this controller to wake your switch up from sleep mode. It does take about two or three seconds to really power the device on. Overall I think this is a cheaper alternative to getting a switch controller. It does work well with the switch however I do feel it is a bit cheap at the joystick and connecting it took longer than expected. The battery life is about five to seven hours before you need to plug it in for a recharge. It is a good alternative controller but I wish you could connect it to your PC wirelessly.So I don't know how to give this item an honest review. The product has changed since I bought it. The controller looks nothing like the product being sold here. The 3rd party switch remote I bought works wonderfully. The plastic feels a bit weird but it gets the job done. I'll update with a picture when I can.This controller works great and you can get 2 for the price of any other.The only thing is it is a little small so if you are smashing bros all day its going to make you wish you had the gamecube style controller.I bought a few more after trying this one.The buttons are clicky and the sticks feel all right, though not as good as controllers from the console manufacturers. It feels light, cheap, and like it won't last long. I'll update if my expectations hold true.Very cool transparent yellow controller. It kind of takes me back to the 90s. Works just fine with Nintendo switch, I kind of prefer this style as it lays so much more comfortable than the other typical ones.Ordered before I bought New Horizons for the switch, the turbo button was a necessity with crafting fish bait, no need to keep tapping A, just press the turbo button and let it goIt works perfectly! It hasnt run out of battery yet so we will see how ling it lasts!Nice color
