I usually don't write reviews, but seeing how this has none and that was almost a huge factor for me not to buy it. That being said I'm pleasantly surprised. The console case fits snuggly and the cutouts match up. It won't provide much protection from drops but will protect from scratching and hand oils. It makes it a snug fit in the dock, doesn't quite slide in easy like it does without the case, but there isn't much room to work with, so the fact they were able to make something that fits at all is cool. The silicon joycon grips are pretty loose though, they kinda slip around a bit, but provide full coverage and will protect them from scratches. I do really like the analog stick covers, quite a few styles to choose from all included. All in all its a decent purchase. Not the best quality, but the fact that I can dock my switch is what I really wanted since I hate having to pull off my other case to dock.Update: This may only be on the clear black model. When you fully tilt the joysticks they touch the case. This may be why the other colors have larger cutouts. Most games still react well because they are pressure sensitive. But the problem becomes more noticable when you try to navigate menus. Deducted a star.Fitment is good. Provides adequate protection. The joycon controllers are made out of a 2pc shell. I originally thought it was a flexible tpu/silicone. It fits the dock a little snug but it doesn't get jammed in. The included thumb grips also fit snug and help protect the original joystick surface. I ordered the transparent black version because it had tighter cutouts around the joycons. If I had to take a wild guess I would say the case would crack if it fell.I used the body case to hold down stickers I didn't want actually stick on my switch, small ones kinda slide around. They will be darkened cause this isn't a clear case, I don't have a problem with that. Will dock but is hard to do. Have to push down and pull up multiple times to set it. Mine came slightly warped entirely on the right edges near the screen and had a spike by the kickstand. Is smooth everywhere else. I'm not using the grips or controller cases. Its super thin. It's alright I mean I don't think it will protect the switch from large falls, but it will protect the backside, top and bottom from scratches.I don't think anyone answered this, but the case fits with the BASSTOP Portable Nintendo Switch Dock Replacement Case. Its a bit iffy because the tight spot blocks like 70% of the vents but incase anyone was curious.Bought this together with their dust cover. It works great as it keeps my switch safe. This case is slim and it barely takes up much extra space so it serves as a nice protective cover. I can put my switch into the dock with this case on, which is convenient. This is exactly the kind of slim cases I have been looking for. I'm happy that I can play with it without any problems and in any mode. The silicone joycon cover helps me to grip it better, it is a cool design and I like it.Good slim case... Only wish it would 'snap' on feels a bit looose but gets the job done and can be docked... Same for the joy con covers but overall gets the job done the rubber tips for the joystick are simply great.. In all a good product at a good price..Very nice for 10$ a good starter for very competitive gaming. Nice hold, and provides good comfort so your hand don’t get crampsAnd levels up your switch. Main problem is is that it’s kinda easy to slip off. and between the ZR and R buttons and vise-versa, there is a small long piece of the skin, and it may annoy you, because it’s kinda flimsy , because it’s a soft (silicon?) skin. So best way is to cut it off, if you desire.Plastic is a bit on the thin side but it has to be to allow it to fit in the dock. Does it fit in the dock with the case on? Yes!Definitely worth the price to protect your Switch from scratches.
