I can’t believe how bright this flashlight is. I watched a number of YouTube videos about it before purchasing but nothing prepares you for what it’s like in person. Pictures and video really don’t do it justice.It’s a great price compared to similar LED flashlights (many are about double the price of this!) and it seems durable/ solid and nice quality. It’s over a pound with the batteries inside but it’s not difficult to hold. The handle that comes with it is removable but this flashlight gets hot - so keeping the handle on is probably for the best.The operation is simple - 2 buttons: one for flood and one for throw and both give varying levels of brightness. And you can have both the flood and the throw on at once which I’ve never seen before.This is powered by three lithium ion 21700 batteries and there’s an adapter disk inside which allows use of flat and button top batteries. The threading used for unscrewing the battery section is good and it’s smooth/ easy to remove and replace. Recharging the flashlight happens via a usb c port on the side which is covered with a rubber plug to keep moisture out. While I haven’t tried it yet, this same port can also be used to power other items like a phone, so this flashlight actually doubles as a charging bank.In addition to just regular light, this has both a strobe and a beacon feature. The strobe is almost nauseating - it’s total chaos - so if you ever need to use it to disorient an intruder, this would do the trick. I’m just pleased as can be with this thing and can hardly wait to use it outside of town where I can really put it to the test.
