Got this almost as a dust cover for my Switch Lite! But excited to use it when I need to travel.Generally speaking, this is a great case. It feels solid, the outside is pretty hard, the material feels nice, the inside is soft, the zipper feels well-made. There's also padding on the flap that rests over the screen of the Switch and gives that added layer of protection. There's also indents in the bottom for the Z buttons, which is a nice thought! The game slots are good, can easily fit in and 10 is a good amount for it to hold. The mesh pockets look good as well although I personally have nothing to put in there since I don't use headphones. There seems to be some debate about whether or not it'll actually hold headphones and still be able to close so something to be wary about if you're a headphones user. The biggest thing that others have already touched on is the spacing. There is a bit of a gap between a bare Switch Lite and the actual case itself when placed inside it. I think this would not be the case if you had a plastic case or bumper on the Switch and then tried to put it in here (although you may have other size issues). It's not THAT bad but I can see it being jostled around a bit inside this case. If you're worried about the spacing and often take out your Switch Lite on trips, I'd suggest another option. I mostly am at home with mine so it's not too big an issue for me.Other than that, I kind of wish the black case had a more muted interior color. Or there was just a third option for all black all around. I didn't want the blue exterior because I didn't want it to be loud only to realize that the interior of the more muted black color is even louder than the interior of the blue, lol. But that's just a design issue. If it bothers you a lot, I'd also suggest a different case.Vote HELPFUL if my review helped you make a decision at all. It encourages me to keep writing! My needs are simple, I just want a low-profile Switch Lite case that I can keep a pair of earbuds in and a few games. Other cases I've tried are either far too bulky and still end up having no place to put my earbuds anyways, or are way too cramped and have the same problem...This is a portable game system with a headphone jack, didn't any case manufacturer bother to design for such a use case? This case has a nice soft screen flap that can transport up to 10 game cards, and a mesh pocket in the upper lid that can carry...I dunno a few credit cards or your Metroid password or something? It's pretty worthless for slipping earbuds into, and I can't think of anything else it would be useful for.Otherwise, the fit and finish of this case are top-notch (As I'd expect from Hori) and I feel like it can withstand tossing around in my backpack without damage to my Switch Lite. I love the cool black exterior and bright yellow interior, it really pops. It's just that trying to squish in a pair of earbuds this case makes things uncomfortably tight, I wish it had just A LITTLE more breathing room. 1-2mm of room in the top lid would be ideal, I don't think that would add hardly any bulk at all.I bought this as well as a cover for my switch that has grips, it’s a transparent cover, and the reason it’s perfect with this case is it elevates the switch up enough to charge it while inside this case. The case itself is plenty good, has 10 game cartridge pockets as well as a decent sized accessory net, I’d trust the case to protect the switch from a fall off a table, however that’s yet to happen for me.I was looking for a very slim yet protective case for my Switch Lite that I could either slip into my purse or backpack and this was it. As a bonus it can hold some games as well. Most of the slimmer cases seemed to be pouches and I felt that offered hardly any protection. This has a pretty sturdy outer shell which I prefer. As other reviewers have pointed out there is a small gap where the Switch sits. Not really a huge deal for me however. I don't feel my Switch jostles around much (I placed it in there and shook it around excessively to test it).If my Switch took a fall in this case I would feel it would be reasonably protected from damage - but that wasn't my intentions for buying this case. I just wanted protections from the stuff in my purse or bookbag from hitting my Switch. For $10 and some change (at the time of this review) it's a great case.Generally, this case is very well built. The stitching and materials are nice. The zipper works smoothly. The yellow is actually A LOT better than the pictures would have you believe (more like a sunshine yellow rather than a weird greenish yellow). The flap that goes over the screen is very soft and well padded. I also like the little cutouts for the Z buttons. The only real flaw with this case is that the there is a gap of about a quarter of an inch between the Switch and the sides. This doesn’t sound like much, but it’s enough where the console knocks around inside the case when shut. I find this pretty disappointing since the dimensions of the Switch Lite have been publicly available for a while. No real excuse for an officially licensed product to be the wrong size.My best guess is that they made it a little taller than it should be in order to easier fit the second row of game card slots. I wish they just provided less slots. Not having the console fit correctly is a poor trade off in my opinion. If this is something that doesn’t bother you and/or you absolutely need 10 cartridge slots, I can recommend this case. It feels solid. Just not the one for me.Pros:-Solid build, feels like it would protect the console from most bumps-Looks good (on the outside)-interior flap is well-padded to protect the screenCons:-The yellow interior lining (which I managed to miss on the photos before ordering) is very bright. It's quite garish. But I suppose most people won't be spending too long looking at the inside.-it's disappointingly ill-fitting for the switch lite. Theres a few mm spare at the sides and up to a cm above or below. It doesn't sound like much but it's enough to allow the console to slide around a bit when carrying. I was expecting a snugger fit.-lack of elastic straps inside to hold the console in. This wouldn't be an issue if the fit were tighter, but there's a risk of the console falling out if you open it a little too enthusiastically.Overall it does the job, but not perfect. The case is very well made, it does have an internal mesh pocket but I struggled to fit in a set of headphones. I use the internal pocket to put in a few small microfibre clothes.Like a few other reviewers have mentioned there is a small amount of space around the Lite which can lead to the Lite jiggling around if shook vigorously. I also purchased the Hori Dura flex case, when this is fitted there is no movement so I assuming this was to enable the 2 products to work together but I do think this should be mentioned in the product description so knocked it a star for that. The attached pic is with the Hori Dura flex case fitted.Great case, arrived next day.The colours are actually black and a luminous yellow than what's displayed in the product image as a green colour. The case is a hard shell but soft to touch. Has two zips on the case with the switch logo and text on the top. The switch lite fits well into this case with some space for the triggers to fit into stopping the switch from sticking up in the case. The case is softly padded with some fuzzy feeling felt, the flap that holds the games and protects the screen is soft and spongy which allows better protection for your switch. Unlike most cases out there, there's no zip on the accessories pouch which is great to see as your switch won't be scratched unless something pokes through the net of the the pouch. The case has a nice seal around it, protecting your console from being scratched by the case zips.I would recommend this product to anyone that cares about their system and looking after it.I don`t have my switch yet. This came early but it feels very protective and feels excellent for the price as it is a official product from the makers of the switch. Nintendo. If you arent a fan of bulky cases, screen protectors, skins or cases that are attached to the switch. This is your best option. Its slim and protective. Feels like quality. Most important its official so you know what your getting. The case will fit 10 game cards and i would say can fit SD cards too. It has a netted area. It wouldn't fit a charger. Its big enough for cables, earphones and small accessories.I give this product a solid 9/10 and a amazon rating of 4 stars. The one thing to make this product better would have been able to fit the charger in it but i am nit picking.Compared to other cases I have tried, this one stands out as very well made. The hard shell is sturdy, and it closes nicely with high quality padding and materials. It may be hard to judge from photos, but when you have two cases side by side, the greater attention to detail and overall build quality of the Hori case is fairly obvious. The slight extra space others have mentioned has not been an issue for me at all, as once the case is closed over the padding around the console keeps it extremely well protected, and prevents it from moving around much.If you're looking for a Switch Lite case, I'd 100% recommend this Hori one above any other. It stands out as a really premium feeling great product.
